This health project addressed the high rate of HIV/STI among high-risk groups (HRGs) through awareness, testing, and care services. Supported by Jharkhand State AIDS Control Society, it reached 2,500 HRGs and involved 36 staff members. Awareness sessions led to behavioral changes like safe sex practices, regular HIV testing, and 20 PLHIVs being linked to ART. Local health practitioners and the general population were also sensitized. The project contributed to reducing new infections and promoting health-seeking behavior. Long-term, it aimed at sustained management of HIV/AIDS.
